I'm a Bay Area native from the heart of the Silicon Valley, who enjoys being involved in the community. Below are some of my volunteer experiences.
In my free time, I play basketball (ever since the 3rd grade!), cook and bake all sorts of dishes, and practice the koto (traditional Japanese harp with 13 strings). Here's a video of a performance.

Led a research project of 9 students that taught literature review methods, statistics, and inter-rater reliability

Volunteer for a year-long cultural leadership program for Japanese and Japanese-American women, called the Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival Queen Program (NCCBFQP)
Responsible for logistics, technology, judges and auditors at the annual Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival in San Francisco Japantown
